The Transformation Process
The unusual thing about this programme is that clients are able to eat foods they love, eat what the rest of their family eats, go out for dinner and on holiday, and live perfectly sociable lives, while still losing weight.

In the Transformation Programme, sessions are once a week. Every session builds on the previous one, creating lasting changes to your eating habits.
The elements we focus on in each session include:
Changing habits: Your eating habits right now are the results of decades of conditioning. Without changing these habits, it will always be a struggle to stick to a new eating plan. Repetition of desired behaviours leads to automaticity.
Awareness: Most people try and lose weight without being aware of all the factors that influence their eating. As a result, a lot of their eating is mindless. A key part of regaining control of your eating is to become more aware of every eating decision.
The Temptation Solution: As Oscar Wilde said “I can resist everything but temptation”. Most diets fail because it’s hard to resist the temptation of ‘bad’ foods. The solution lies in a mix of exerting deliberate control on your food environment, calculated indulgence and using specific strategies to improve your ability to withstand temptation.
Finding the optimum timing of meals: When you eat has a huge impact on how much you eat. It’s remarkable how many clients find eating less to be so much easier once we’ve discovered their right eating rhythm.
A step-by-step plan: The ideal plan has to be easy to follow, personalised to you, and one that fits in with your (and your family’s) eating routines.
Emotional Eating: It always amazes me how often diets simply ignore emotional eating even though for many people it’s their biggest driver of weight gain. I have used a reliable three-step method for dealing with emotional eating with clients for many years now.
Cognitive Restructuring: Are you constantly frustrated (and baffled) by your own self-sabotage? This is the result of cognitions (thoughts) you have around your own weight and eating. We have to change these in order for you to be successful.
Accountability: It’s really hard to achieve this goal on your own. Especially if you’re very busy with multiple demands on your time from work and family. I help to keep you focused and on track, through ups and downs.
Don’t Settle: As one of my clients said to me: "For me, the change in self image, self confidence and a general positivity to life as a woman in her 40s/50s was a takeaway I didn't expect."
Permanence: Our aim is lasting weight loss. To create a permanent change in your relationship with food, that enables you to naturally manage your weight for life.
Why the Programme Works
There is a problem with dieting.
Even if you get told exactly what to eat, it’s still a struggle to stick to the plan.
Why?
Because there is a battle between what the diet is telling you to do and your old eating habits.
Lasting weight loss involves changing habits that have been learned over a lifetime.

By changing these eating habits, we are fixing the underlying problem (without the battle with yourself that you’ve previously experienced on diets).
There is a mountain of evidence on the cognitive-behavioural approach for changing habits. But there’s one additional thing we need to consider.
At my weight loss clinic, I only see women over 40. And as we know, for a woman after the age of 40, you may have to contend with:
Changes in metabolism
A busy, stressful lifestyle balancing multiple demands including work and family
Hormonal fluctuations associated with menopause
Menopausal symptoms disrupting eating patterns
Diet fatigue (after all, dieting is exhausting and there comes a time when you can’t face it anymore)
These are all factors we have to take into account when designing a weight loss programme. My programme has been refined and improved over the course of helping hundreds of women over 40 to lose weight and keep it off.

While my physical clinic is at Harley Street in London, I’ve worked with women all around the world and currently all Discovery Sessions are via Zoom.
The Downsides of My Programme
There are two main downsides to the programme:
1. It’s strange. Many people can’t understand or accept a programme where you’re asked to eat normally - and still lose weight.
2. It’s expensive compared to other weight loss methods. This is because I see every client 1:1 and personalise and refine the programme for you throughout the process.
